About Dr. Frame
Brent Frame, DPM, is an experienced podiatrist at Foot & Ankle Specialists of New Mexico, with locations in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, South Valley, Edgewood, and Grants, New Mexico. Dr. Frame has been practicing in Albuquerque since 1991 and is dedicated to providing high-quality care to his patients.
Dr. Frame is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he earned a degree in zoology. Taking a break from his undergraduate studies, Dr. Frame spent two years doing mission work in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and is fluent in Dutch. He also earned a Master of Science in podiatric education and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the California College of Podiatric Medicine).
Following graduation, he completed his residency training at the Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California, and through programs at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento. During his residency, his emphasis was on diabetic limb salvage, acute foot and ankle trauma, and rearfoot and ankle reconstruction. Dr. Frame is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery.
He previously served as a residency director for Lovelace Medical Group’s podiatry training program in Albuquerque from 1996-2006. Since 2004, he has served as a volunteer Special Olympics “Fit Feet” Director.
Dr. Frame enjoys sharing his vast podiatric knowledge with the community as well as with his patients every day. He and his wife have five children and are the proud grandparents of two grandchildren. As a family, they enjoy vacationing together and being active in their local church. Outside of work, he is involved in various sports programs at La Cueva High School. He also enjoys skiing, gardening, playing the guitar, and occasionally exercising.
